Wetlands are environments at the interfaces between truly terrestrial ecosystems and truly aquatic systems same as area of marsh, fen, peat land or water. But sometimes, these environments encounter special conditions like oil fields and salt marshes, and the fusion of all these creates a small world that can only be found in a few areas.
